Yikes, no power in March is a scary proposition.

Curious if anyone has any thoughts as to the toughest course the ladies play. I know that in some years the U.S. Open course is set up pretty hard, but that's not true 100% of the time. The other major courses seem to be more challenging than the usual event but not notably difficult. I'd like to see them play some more challenging setups.

With the LPGA taking a one week break before resuming its schedule in the United States, it is as good a time as any to look at some key player statistics after the first four tournaments of the year.

The American Players and Jin Young Ko have dominated the early season:

Of the non-major events I'd go with the Volunteers tournament in Texas. The fairways are sloped, the wind is always a factor and the greens are firm bermuda and difficult to hold. Last year one of the par 3s was impossible to reach in regulation, not because of its length, but because no shot would hold. Then players were chipping back and the balls would run through the green into the water fronting the green. Worst hole for a competitive event I'd ever seen.

They changed the course where it's going to be played this year, not a shock.

Greens are bent. But yeah they moved to old American, which is an all Bermuda links style course, should be fun.

oldest LPGA tournament winner was 46 years old.

LD is 54. still a long shot, but that would be the record for the men's tour as well.
