i had no idea that happened to lexi. i was watching but channel-surfing. saw that lexi bogeyed and i think thai player birdied.

i'm confused as to all the wording. she wouldn't have necessarily won the tournament if she'd sunk it????... i gather she'd have won a bunch of accolades and money (sorry grammar) if she'd sunk it.

it's funny how the putt looks completely different from side (could miss, although almost a gimme) and head-on (looks like a 3 inch putt)

i think lexi has tons of problems with her game inside 100 yards. maybe it spread to her putting and mental makeup.... far too steep on everything i think. obviously a problem with putting would be very slight but very real and apt to surface when the pressure is on.

it's funny. it took me 30 seconds of brain squeezing to remember what lexi got busted for at the major...

Lexi made massive improvement to her putting over the last offseason and she’s a strong full / 3/4 wedge player. Right around the green is a weak point, chips and shorter pitches. She works her ass off and had a really good season. I’m not going to read much into this missed putt

A Dream Come True for 17 New LPGA Members!

They played 90 holes over a grueling 5 day period, but it all ended Sunday with nine players earning full time status on the LPGA Tour for the very first time.

As we wait for the start of the 2018 season, I would like to look back at what I consider the most memorable moments of 2017.

It was a very interesting and exciting past year. There were multiple teenage winners, exciting playoffs, big comebacks, engagements, marriages, and a number of first time winners.

I have narrowed it down to 10, although I know there were many more. This list is very subjective, depending on who your favorite golfers are. A top story for me may be one that someone else might want to forget.

The USGA and the R&A have introduced a new local rule and new video protocols for 2018.

A working group led by the USGA and The R&A has unanimously agreed to adopt a new set of protocols for video review when applying the Rules of Golf.
The group, consisting of the PGA Tour, LPGA, PGA European Tour, Ladies European Tour and The PGA of America, as well as the governing bodies, will implement the following measures from January 1, 2018:

The LPGA officially announced today the addition of three new tournaments that will be added to the 2018 schedule.

I started to try and figure out which two tournaments got the axe but got sidetracked. I did see that they're skipping the New Zealand Open to move it to a spring slot in 2019.

Two events have been permanently removed from the schedule: The Lorena Ochoa Match Play event in Mexico and the Manulife Classic held in Canada.

I can see the Mexico one going bye bye. The sponsors never wanted to pay the money to put it on TV. Manulife I know weather wasn't great last year because of the short growing season before the event. I remember the fairways being verti-cut and they played lift clean and place the whole tournament because of it. It's Canada though, surprised it left. Maybe a sponsorship thing.

With the 2017 season in the books, I would like to look back at the players that I thought gave us the most surprising seasons, and those who disappointed.

Didn't know until today that Gerina Piller will be missing most of the season due to pregnancy, apparently she's due in May.

Paula Creamer's season to start late as she is still recovering from wrist (?) surgery.

The Pure Silk can't get here soon enough, though judging from the weather down that way today probably best that it isn't this weekend.
