The LPGA played its last official tournament last weekend. The 2023 season has now come to a close, and what a season it was! There were records set in many different categories.

Here is my recap of what I thought was one of the most competitive and entertaining seasons ever.

Congrats to Angel Yin for her first LPGA win and her $1 million Aon risk/reward prize.

IMO she has the game to win at the majors. Hopefully her conversations with Julie Inkster lead to improved level of emotions and even better results going forward.

yep. i was out there Thur. love going to golf events where you're basically behind the ropes the entire time and right up on the action

Nelly Korda was a winner this past weekend, taking home the first-place trophy at the Ford Championship. In doing so, she has accomplished something that has not been done on the LPGA in eight years. The victory was her third win in her last three starts. How rare is this achievement?

I'm going to say not quite yet. If someone wins two majors (and Nelly wins nothing else of course), it would be a debate.

But yeah, unless Nelly gets hurt, she's going to be the POY.
