Too bad the Ann Arbor event dropped off, though Volvik had made it known that they were not going to renew. Sounds like the LPGA is talking to people about sponsoring and that there would be a spot on the schedule and an organization in place if they can lock in a sponsor deal.

Also surprised to see two events drop off the Asian swing, seemed like both were very successful this past year.

Yeah, just looked in more detail, an event in Korea replaces the Hana Bank and there is a tba where another Asian event will go so not such a big change.

I feel bad for the new tournament in Michigan - it will draw attention because of the different format but I wonder if players will skip it anyway since it is right before back to back euromajors.

You're a tour pro, should be able to align yourself anyway
