Wait a few more weeks for Rory's wins late last season to decay a bit, basically.

I think he will be around for a while, and his game gets better..

I think he made a deal with the devil and traded his hair for world class golf skills.

Man... Thread is over 3 years old now... Time flies.

Spieth w/ 3 majors now (British Open/The Open FTW yesterday) joining Jack as the only other dude under 24 yrs old with that under their belts.

Him and his caddie are good golf. Let us enjoy.

My good friend can't stand him. Thinks he's the luckiest golfer and whines all the time. See I'm a Spieth fan and yea he gets some good breaks but that's what tends to happen with greatness. As for the "whining" which is constant talking to his golf ball or having a running commentary with himself. I find it entertaining in a game that can sometimes lack it in the personality department.

I admit I underestimated this kid. Thought he just had a magical 2015 and would revert to standard Top-30ish level golf along the lines of Jimmy Walker or Jason Dufner. Thought his driving was too inconsistent and he wasn't long enough.

Realize now that he has the intangibles that only a few have, that separates very good from great. In addition his putting is such a weapon. His iron play is phenomenal.

Seems like a 100% genuine and nice young man also, haters gonna hate I guess.

It's freakish WIM is what it is and it's sublime.

Also he somehow made me feel sorry for Matt Kuchar. A herculean feat in itself.

So is Spieth better than McIlroy?

At the moment he is, but we'll have to wait and see how it turns out over time.

Rory's already got 4 majors under his belt atm (PGA Championship x2). If he finds a way to win the Masters, that will be a tough hill to climb, for anyone.

With that said, Spieth has 3 majors at the tender age of ~24...he's just missing the PGA Championship.

It's all subjective at this point.

IMO, Spieth will beat McIlroy in the next 2 years and it won't even be a question. Rory doesn't seem to even care anymore. He has everything he ever wanted checked off - He's done. He can win if he wants - - Not sure if he wants to tho.

Of course Spieth is better than Rory. These kinds of lol questions are why he is extremely underrated.
