Since the last time I updated this I went from 10.4 to 13, I feel like at my local the course rating is a little harsh but who knows. I decided to put a card in at a different course today and shaved a little off it back down to 12.2... boiling hot so the greens were like ice but actually putted really really well.

9.5 currently but only about 6 rounds in 2 years. Last round a month ago shot 79. Life has distracted me from golf which sucks because I am putting it all together lately with the irons and driver. Lot of easy 2 putt pars. The lay off could be very good. Prior to shutting it down was around a 7.

Got it down to my lowest ever of 7.4 middle of this summer, clawed back up to 9.4 as of now. My hot streak late July/early August is still in my last 20 otherwise I'd probably be more like 10+.

I've got one more round on Friday, which likely will be my last -- weather is not shutting me down, it's been a wonderfully warm start to the fall but I'm going into the laboratory as of last week so best to call it quits and get practicing. Will detail in the misc thread.

Ending the posting season at 8.0 which is slightly higher than the start of the year and 2 higher than my low for the season but overall it's where I am. Have a week in Naples in January where I should get 4-5 rounds in so that'll be a nice break in the middle of winter and then hopefully I can come out next season hitting it like I have this fall and continuing to improve on my driving and putting.

Nice reminder to update mine been about 9 months I think since I've last updated it. Think I went up to like 13 and trended around 12ish. After a few good rounds recently it's back down to 11. Hoping to get down to single figures this year.

Would be a bit lower if my Bandon rounds counted, but it excludes them due to "offseason", have 19.2 and 15.0 differentials being excluded. Been putting in some work on the game since I started planning Bandon, and feeling pretty close to a breakthrough. Want to be 15 by the end of the year.

just one guy's two cents: let the 'breakthrough' come to you, don't try to force it.

For sure! Just focusing on putting the work in and the process and trusting that results will come.

Agree, one of the most aggravating things is when you know you're swinging it well but still isn't showing in the scores. Best thing is to let go of expectations and just play golf. The good rounds will start coming.
