Played Black Mountain yesterday, thought it was mediocre and sort of overpriced, though the greens were pretty nice.
Played Siena today, thought it was sick value, fairways in awesome condition, really fun course. The greens were plugged a few weeks back and not all the way fixed yet but still not bad. Would definitely go back to Siena.

Staying in Summerlin for June for WSOP with Joe Tall, if anyone wants to golf over this side of town and needs a couple more to play, feel free to shoot me or Joe a PM.

I'm playing TPC Las Vegas in 2 wks. Got a Saturday 11am tee time for $95. Is this cheap because I may die due to heat exhaustion? How bad will it be?

I haven't ever played golf in Vegas.

18 holes you should survive. Did you prepay it? If so try moving it earlier. Cheapest I have gotten there was $100 as a tourist but it wasnt June

Sienna is a nice course and I agree on Black Mountain. Never paid more than $60 to play it

Paid $50 at siena. Played Angel Park Mountain course yesterday ($39), very easy course (I played blues) - shot a personal best 85!

Playing Revere Lexington today ($65).

Played it so many times forget which 9 is Diablo. Are those the two target par 4's and than the Par 3 buy the Tall Condos?

no, that's desperado

Diablo ends with the forced lay-up par 5 then long par 4

Revere Lexington was awesome! So many beautiful holes, with awesome view of the strip. I thought the course was quite difficult, mostly around the greens, but I enjoyed many of the forced layup holes and whatnot since I rarely hit driver anyway. Shot a disappointing 103. 3 putt everything

Hopefully Bear's Best tomorrow.

My golfing buddy booked a 4some for 2:30 on Sat at Angel Park (palm course) and our other two golf friends are busy, so we have til tomorrow to change it. If anyone is interested in joining us, hit me up. We've got the OB card so I believe it'll only be $30.

two questions:

where's the best (cheapest) range in town with real grass that would be a good practice go-to range?

Also, if i leave my clubs in the trunk of my car, will the Vegas heat end up warping them?

Probably the muni (Las Vegas Golf Club). I think they even have like $30/month for unlimited range balls. (As does Silverstone, but that's farther... much nicer range though.)

And no.

not warped but if you have any sort of gunmetal/rusted irons/wedges/putters they can wreak havoc on their finish. I have a Cameron Santa Fe Teryllium and I had to get it refinished a few times. Also, it was the best way to rust a wedge back in the day.

Don't leave your clubs in your car. The epoxy can get too hot and your clubs will twist/break apart.

Even if I have steel shafts?

Shot 101 at Bear's Best today, our group didn't enjoy it as much as Revere or even Siena, I liked it a bit better than Siena but Revere was just all around more awesome.

Playing Siena again tomorrow ($45).

Such a good price for Sienna. When we were there in May best price was $129

yes, even steel

I mean, you'll probably be ok leaving them in your car, but not worth the risk imo.

Siena was solid again, though the greens are still not healed up from plugging, so they were a bit hit or miss. I played awesome though, shot 42/48 = 90 with 8 GIRs.

Wolf Creek ($125) on Sunday!

Disregard just realized Wolf Creek and not Wolf Pauitte Story is good still

We played that three weeks ago in a stiff breeze. On the Island par 3 My buddies hit 6 Irons and 7 Irons to get the 125 Yards. I failed twice with my ( iron and had to hit an 8 I took a 6 and my buddy that put it on in one took a 7 Every putt he hit short rolled back 10 feet due to the pin placement and the wind

41-42-83 at Badlands (Outlaw/Diablo) today...gorgeous day today, too. If I could've sunk a damn putt I would've easily shot in the 70s.

TPC Las Vegas today ($70) - tore it apart, shot 86. Was lots of fun and seemed easy.
