i should ask in main vegas thread, but if i'm willing to walk, is there cheap (or "free") long-term parking remotely near the strip? thx for any answers.
Don't get me wrong I want to stay on the golf topic but my main point is Golf in Vegas is no longer a deal or that great.
We usually stay off the strip. South Point we really like has all the stuff you like and clean and comfortable and free parking. Though they have a $21 resort fee I do believe now and $100 a night is the norm. It used to be $69 Problem is the golf. We always used to play Tuscany as it was a nice layout fair for all the handicaps. We would book most of our golf on Golfnow. Sadly you are hard pressed to get a round under $100 it seems. Less than 5 years ago $69 was the most we paid. We have used other online booking apps but still the same.
So the last 5 years we have done Vegas golf twice and St George, Palm Springs and Phoenix. Those destinations we rented a house and the golf courses were better and cheaper. Our next venture will be Tucson.
We have agreed Vegas will not be on our list of places for a golf vacation. There comes a time were you just price yourself out of the market.
