I'm playing Badlands next week Monday. Played it back at xmas and thought it was really good. Trying to decide on a course for the Tuesday as well. Tuscany looks like a popular pick throughout the thread, as well as Rio Secco and Bali Hai. Not real keen on paying >100 for a round though. Anyone know of good deals for Bali Hai?

Just go with Badlands and Tuscany both favorites of mine. Tuscany is more forgiving. Badlands hard pressed to even take a driver but bring lots of balls. If your going to pay over $100 for Bali I play TPC instead

Unless every piece of info I've run across is wrong and/or incomplete, TPC Summerlin is private.

Sooners, please provide a link for your statement.

I played the Wolf course at Paiute the other day and I think it's now my favorite Vegas area course. Rates are pretty reasonable with a local ID, also. Depending on the time of day it's something like $54 for the Sun or Snow course and $64 for Wolf. Good time to play Wolf also if you're watching the TPC--one hole is an island green modeled after 17 at Sawgrass (both Pete Dye designs).

Does anyone have a favorite crappy muni style course in the Vegas area? Not sure why but I just feel like going to a course like the ones I used to play at home...cheap, easy, no one there so I can play 36 in like 5 hours, etc.

Im a late golfer, like to finish about 7 just before it goes dark also have 2 cool hours in the shade on some courses; The heat doesn't bother me,sometimes im sweating out a hangover and its a tonic.

Sorry have actually read the whole thread and got some great advice for last year we played bear's best and revere lexington. Was just wondering if any courses had good new deals this summer as opposed to last and which courses were in great shape. I do have a rental car. Thanks for the help!!

Suggestions please, currently looking at Angel Park and National, anything better:

Have a car and all have own clubs
Mixed ability group, from bad to really bad
Happy to tee it up at 6-7 am.
$50 ideally, $100 for a really nice course.
Quiet course where beginners can take a mulligan now and then without causing problems behind
Happy to carry clubs, don't need cart rental particularly

TIA
