It's awesome if you're playing well. But it's pretty brutal and miserable if you aren't.

No way its a treat to play at any level. I was a 19 handicapper and loved it a few years ago.

OK here is the trick to cheap golf in Vegas for the tourist.

Sign up for e-mail specials at this site www.golfnow.com Make sure you specify Vegas deals only and everyday you get some specials

Here are the courses I would play

Tuscany
Badlands
Desert Pines
Boulder Creek
Rhodes Ranch
Sienna

Either way fall golf will be the priciest but you can find some deals

I could see why you say that actually. Its a love it or hate it course. Very tight and not long but I liked it and was in great shape. Personally I am not a fan of the Walters courses. Over priced in my opinion.

i played it about a month ago or so and i didnt think it was in good shape. i havent played it since over-seeding (assuming they do it there same time everyone else does) so i should really give it a second try.

I played it in May and it was in great shape. Though catching a course around overseeding time will leave you a bad impression everytime

How are bali hai and primm valley lakes? I would pay the 230-280 for a 2some if they are high quality. I've never golfed out there. I have a trip planned in early January.

Both Overpriced and not worth it if its 220 a person. If $220 for both of you try bali Hai over Primm Will you be cabbing it or have a Rental?

FWIW, I have played Wolf Creek a couple of times and loved it, but I got the impression the poster was asking about the Wolf Course at Paiute.

Usual questions were are you staying and do you have a rental car?
Golf in Las Vegas Superthread Quote

I will have a car and I am staying at the Wyndham.

Driving distance isn't that much of an issue if the course is worth it price and play wise

thanks

The two courses in Boulder City are both bargains compared to the courses in Las Vegas. Boulder City Municipal has always been in nice condition when I've bee there, and Boulder Creek (?) is 27 holes, and a little nicer. Both were less than $50. last time I was there.

Hey guys,

Heading to Vegas again soon and would love to hear opinions of courses you have played, your experiences or any interesting websites in regards to Las Vegas golf
I have played a few of the courses out there with the most notable being the TPC courses.

And perhaps make it a sticky, it seems to be one of the most, if not the most brought up thread here. And probably rightfully so.

I am pretty anti-sticky cuz I don't like the clutter, but it's not too bad of an idea. Maybe we'll give it a test drive soon.

EDIT: merging was easier than I thought so I pulled them all together. In the future I will just merge new OPs into this one if it makes sense to do so.
