I think it does make a difference if you are talking about putting because if you are right handed and left eye dominant then you will see the line a little better. If you putt RH, then the left side should control the motion or "stear the ship". This is a lot easier and most importantly more natural if a RH putts LH. It's funny you bring this up though because when I give a putting lesson, one of the first things I always ask someone is if they are right or left eye dominant.

lol that's right, I think they wanted to always have a putt breaking right to left. I never understood this and I could care less if my putt is downhill or uphill or if it breaks left to right or right to left.
