Yea it's proof how important that part of golf is. When he was trying to find his short game a lot of these chips and pitches were ending up in the 8-12 ft and sometimes more range. That wears on you and you honestly can't make them all.

Now he's burning edges and leaving himself tap ins and 3 footers. So huge.

let me preface this by saying that TW's performance just so far in his comeback makes me completely wrong... i thought he wouldn't do much and would semi-retire quite soon.

now i ask: what are the odds that TW makes it back to being ranking in top 10 at some point? say 3 year window starting today...

it'll be amazing if TW and Phil win back-to-back.......

it's interesting. federer and nadal were basically moderately over-the-hill and sinking fast and now they are the two best players in the world again by a large margin (esp. in nadal's case).

What in the hell is Connors doing? Who is he? I don't think I've ever heard of him before this. He is making every damn putt on the course. It's absurd.

former #1 amateur in the world.......... played at kent state, which is big ncaa golf school for canadians (washington and to lesser ASU are others). hard for top canadians to get offers from many top USA schools for a number of reasons (why does florida/texas/USC/georgia/etc. need to go to canada to get top players?... title 9 probably has something to do with it too.
