Let's write that another way:

"In 79 PGA Tour victories, he's started at Even just like everybody else, and pulled ahead such that, after 72 holes, he was the victor all 79 times."

There is no such thing as coming from behind. You start at Even and after 72 holes you're either ahead of everyone or not. This "coming from behind" nonsense just satiates MURICA's fascination with the idea of clutch.

56 of the times he was so good he didn't need to come from behind. The other 23 he was human pre-Sunday.

I'm pretty sure the media has shown that he's an expert on coming from behind

Rules question.. does Tiger or any player have to pull the ball out of the hole or could his caddy do it?

lol at the line from the first paragraph..

"In 79 PGA Tour victories, he's only had 23 come from behind wins."

People are ****ing nuts if they think that is in any way a bad thing.
Well, I believe that's incorrect if it says that. It should say come from behind after 54 holes.

For instance, he has come from behind in majors before. His last major he was behind in the 3rd and 4th rounds, including at least by two in the final round .

IOW, he's won enough times from behind to earn a lifetime exemption on the tour.

Good thing for Tiger is Lacava has dealt with his guy having a bad back for a long time.

Wonder if he'll play next week. It's pretty amazing he almost birdied the last three to force a playoff.

That scene at the par 5 was eery though. You can tell when he makes a bad swing he can barely stand up.

Could just be a slightly pinched nerve or pulled muscle. Might be totally fine by Thursday.

He could just leave it in there and peel off a new ball on the next tee.

Seriously? That would have gotten the haterz so FURIOUS. LOL @ Tiger pussing out and having his caddie grab his ball in front of millions of viewers. He's not going to do that. If he can swing a club he can bend down and pick his ball up.

Everyone knows "come from behind" in golf means trailing the last round tho.

For how much LaCava probably makes, Tiger should be making him fish his ball out of the hole when he can't bend at the waist.

Agreed anyone that has thrown out their back knows golf is the last thing you are thinking about. You walk like an old man and getting out of bed to pee is an issue

Yeah, definitely a combination of pain and disappointment/embarrassment as to where that shot was headed on 13.

Nothing a little stem/ultrasound treatment and a hooker cant handle

So we determined he could have had Joe pick the ball up for him so another rules question.. could he pop some advil/aleve on the course and could have Joe rubbed some Voltaren or A535 to his back while on the course??

I remember seeing a guy have treatment on the course by a chiropractor or masseuse a few years back as long as you stay on the clock. Face it many times those guys are waiting on the tee boxes
