I need to figure out shipping costs but I don't think it'll be hat bad... For now I was thinking 75 for the hybrids, 200 for the irons 100 for the Cameron 50 for the Darby. If you want multiple clubs we could do a package deal of some sort.

I just bought a Taylor Made and if I don't sell one of my drivers, I'm a gonna get kilt by my hot blooded better half.

I'm guessing shipping would add $20.

I have all kinds of I-mix shafts available if anyone is interested. Not sure on prices-send me an offer and we can work something out. All shafts are new unless noted. Pics available upon request.

Keep in mind that most of these are $300 shafts if you wanted to order them directly from callaway.

I'm looking for these clubs:

a 3-wood/fairway wood 15 degree, stiff flex
a decent sand wedge

Also can someone explain what kind of hybrid I might need, since my new irons only go down to a 4-iron? Loft, etc...although I'm thinking of just buying a 3 iron to match my set.

i'd get a hybrid over traditional 3i. they tend to be easier to hit.

This site lists some lofts for irons:
http://www.equip2golf.com/specifications/specs_frameset.html?cleveland/cleveland_TA5.html~specs
maybe your set is listed.

most 3i look around 22 degrees.
if you have a gap btwn your fairway wood (15 degrees) to your 4i (about 24) maybe get a lower loft than traditional 3i, like 18-19 degrees.

also, i think the ball pops up a bit more off hybrids, idk what the physics are behind this.

Dominic you should be getting a 19-20 degree hybrid there. I needed to fill the gap between my 15 degree 3w and my 24 degree 4i. a 19 degree hybrid did the job perfectly.

my 4i is a 22 degree, so 19 should be about right...thanks!

looking for an orlimar trimetal plus 3 wood with a stiff shaft, pretty cheap and worthless but I really like them and they are rare as hell. If anyone has one they are looking to get rid of please PM me.

Just in case you're not POSITIVE yet, please go hit a 3 hybrid before you commit to a 3 iron. Unless you're some sort of golf stud (in addition to all of the other studliness), then you'll enjoy golf a lot more.

I own this item, hit it about 210 straight ahead with a nice easy swing, and hope that it will last forever:

I wen with a 19 degree Taylormade Burner hybrid...just a few swings with it, going about 210 yds with an easy swing sold me on it. No more 3 iron for me!

My only problem with my 3-hybrid is shaking the feeling that I am somehow cheating or not playing "real golf."

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. I need to break 80 before I start worrying about such trivialities as my "feelings."

Who cares how I FEEL, anyway?

Enjoy that 3 hybrid. Welcome to three or four strokes fewer per round.

JTrout...can you still get Titleist stuff for cheap? I want a 909D2 9.5* or 8.5* LH driver with a stiff Voodoo shaft and figured I would ask you before buying it for sticker at the local Golf Galaxy.

Try some before you buy them. Make sure they cover your yardage gaps. It's tough to predict how far you'll hit a 19* hybrid given how far you hit your 22* 4 iron. It's possible you'll hit the 19* hybrid 25 yards farther than your 4 iron...

Know what you want in terms of offset. Most of them are offset. Try some of each before you buy one. Offset will make it easier to draw the ball and gets it up in the air a little more. If you draw it to begin with, you'll probably want to avoid the offset ones.

i hope this is the right forum but could anyone suggest a driver for me, i want to buy a used one maybe 1-2 years old, $200 range or so.

i had my last driver fitted seven years ago or so, calloway 454

just want to know what kind of drivers are around now and how drivers have improved since then

i am an ok golfer maybe 15 handicap, terrible short game fade my driver sometimes it slices

when i hit it solid about 275 or so, im pretty long many drives shorter maybe 240 range

i would just like a general idea and hopefully keep my eyes open and try different ones out at driving range

thanks in advance!

ProV1 are brand new in the box clean

$37 a dozen shipped for ProV1.

5 dozen available for each

Also have 3 Titleist Vokey Wedges brand new with grip and face plastic on them

You can get a 2009 Taylormade Burner for $200 at most shops these days - I found an authentic one on eBay for $136. The 2007 model has also dropped price in the stores to around $140.

These drivers are long, very forgiving and perfect for us middle handicappers. I liked mine so much I also bought a 2007 3Wood model that I now smack about 250 yds when I hit it well. Awesome clubs.
