if my detective skills are accurate, it looks like your brother's loop lost 2 and 1...bummer. i was hoping to find a random horse like Will to root for based on a connection to this thread.

Yeah he was -2 through 17 and lost :-/

Seemed like a good match - kid is only 15 and appears to have a solid game.

Back to caddying for hacks for my brother. He’s gotten to caddie in the match play in the four ball and US Junior and missed match play by 2 strokes at the us am. So decent results in the usga events. They seem like fun weeks out there.

Did you catch the tv coverage today? Place looked amazing. Camera work and announcers were pretty rough. Smylie was good though.

Lees bunker shot on 16 was awesome.

Thanks for the link. That weather is all too familiar, ha. This past week every day but Monday was extreme "marine layer" until about 11:30, a couple hours of sun and heat (maybe), and the wind and fog rolling in in the afternoon. Couldn't use a range finder through the mist.

Flying out at the end of November and was able to snag two nights in the Inn during the week but even as a single my three rounds are 8:10 Sheep on a Wednesday, 12:10 Trails Thursday and 11:50 Trails Friday.

Not a single opening earlier on days 2 and 3 as of now; I hope to move up and add Bandon or Pacific one of those days as we near the 30-day out cancellation window

Yeah but almost guarantee you get out within the first hour each day. We had a 3rd that didnt have reservations when we played in may. He got out with us 4 of the 5 rounds and we teed off within 30 minutes of the first tee time.

But you know this kinda stuff already

Do y'all normally see a good amount of tee time and lodging cancellations right at the 30 day window? Still looking to get lodging for 4 of our 6 nights in January and move up two of our five tee times to earlier to guarantee finishing.

I have generally planned well in advance and booked when the resort started accepting reservations so haven't had a lot of experience with trying to move my itinerary around.

But in this day and age with covid and such I bet times and rooms do become available. The flip side being that people really like Bandon and don't bail lightly. Keep us posted!

Yeah - if I don't get a better schedule before I arrive I'll be at the Bandon shop ready to go early each morning take just about anything. Get out early wherever and then sneak in some additional golf after playing 18
