What is? Is it just the slow play thing, or what? I really don't get what is so intolerable about furyk. He's a guy who doesn't hit it very far and has a crazy ass swing but he owns it and plays his game way better than could be reasonably expected.

He plays slow. He backs off every single putt at least once. It's the least enjoyable stuff to watch out there. Playing with him has to be unbearable.

Yea, idk... he's always seemed nice enough (for whatever that's worth, not much I suppose) in videos/interviews I've seen of him. Before I started reading this forum I would have never guessed that there was anyone that hated him, much less several people like there are here.

That's just the way he reads putts. He does the crouching read that everyone else does, but he also does a read as he addresses the ball. So it's not really backing off the putt, because he never intended to putt in the first place. But yes, that is time consuming.
