Cameron Smith splits #17 fairway. Needs to birdie out for a 59. Regardless, def looks like he'll be breaking the course record.

poker play shoots 60 in Korn Ferry pre-qualifying

In a pre-qualifier for Korn Ferry Tour Q School, Denzik fired a 10-under-par 60. Yep, a 60. The former golfer at Morehead State University leads by three shots after the first round at Lake Caroline GC in Madison, Miss.

FYI, 2nd place so far = 63...

has anyone ever monday qualified out of nowhere, done really well in that tourney thus getting to play the next week (or later in season) and make pga tour that way? (i'm asking re: pga monday qualifier, not KF qualifying).

i think alot of guys have done it off sponsor's invites.

I think PReed Monday qualified a lot early in his career. Not sure if he got his card that way or not.

Reed Monday Q’d successfully 6 times one year. If nothing else, it’s a great confidence boost knowing you can play out there.

2 years ago on the Champions Tour Doug Barron successfully pre Q’d then Monday Q’d into the Dick’s Sporting Goods event and then won earning full status. He just won for the second time in the last month.

A professional golfer who has already shot a 59 has gone one better with a stunning 13-under par 58.

His name is Cooper Dossey and he plays on the All Pro Tour. The 58 was carded in the first round of the Coca Cola Dr Pepper Open.
