reading through, he holed out a wedge and a shot from 217 yards in the last 4 holes. i wonder if anything like that has ever been done before or since in high level golf...... twice in 4 holes that were the last 4 holes.

i remember the ishikawa 58 and the wyatt 57. forgot about the jager web.com 58 (with the cows in the background)

didn't see back 9 but i definitely thought about this on 9th hole (and they said similar then too)

i tend to agree with announcers that peak-rory was the best golfing display since peak-tiger. obviously completely opinion and rory has such a nice swing to watch it might bias observors.

how many players have won with an improved score every day? not that many improved scores all 4 days in general as you need to make the cut with a reasonable score

If I remember his interview correctly, his 'bad' first round was due to the fact that he played the back 9 blind, as he hadn't played/practiced it before....

59 shot by greyson sigg (ex georgia bulldog) on the pga canada tour in kelowna.

i just caddied in his group a few weeks ago. made zero putts then. i'm guessing he made a few today

seen alot of low scores recently on most tours.......... i do think par 70 is so much easier to do the 59.

i was super excited for cameron champ going for 59 the other day, mistakenly thinking it was par 70. it was par 72
