looks like he parred the final hole for a 60... very strange. it shows it on the leaderboard but clicking through the scorecard it hasn't been recorded yet.

I remember that guy from when he won the Greenbriar a few years ago. All I can really recall is that he was lefty and his wife was way too hot for him. He was having a lot of high finished on the Web tour near the end of last year so I guess his good play is continuing. Would be kind of a random guy to shoot 59, most fans probably don't even know who he is.

Inbee Park -6 through 5 holes.

Not 58 watch but Dame Laura Davies -9 through 17. Damn.

Edit: now -6 through 8 holes.

Bag of dicks LPGA website only has her scorecard through 5 holes and scoreboard through 8. Who knows what is correct.

Kiwi golfer Mark Brown shoots 59 AGAIN during a Charles Tour event at the same course as he did in 2014.

The only professional to do it twice alongside Jim Furyk?

With one round to go he's one stroke ahead and will be aiming for history as he searches for his fourth straight Carrus Open (fifth in six years) at the Tauranga Golf Club tomorrow. Must like the course!

Sneds. He has <3' for birdie to put him -10 with 2 to play on a par 70. This is after bogeying the first hole.

I just came to post that, too. In the fairway on #8 (started on the back).

81 yards to the hole

Sneds drains the 20-footer for 59, nice job

Was +1 after 3 holes. 12-under over the last 15. Impressive.

Tiger -7 thru 10, par 70 course.

I always wonder if par 70's should count but the course is really a par 72, they just call it a par 70.

first 59 ever on the Latin American tour..... that's after shooting 79 the round before

forgot the player's name but he is canadian.

this bad round before or after very low score (after esp.) must be real...

do statisticians still claim that steph curry has the same expectation for a 3 point % after going 4 for 5 or 0 for 5? (obvously his 3pt% going forward). i.e. "hot hand" is a fallacy. poor/good 3 point % could have been caused by external factors (defense, having to take a shot as the clock expired)

drew nesibtt...... his 59 beat the field by 2 strokes

That can't possibly be true... right? How is that calculated? Field average of 61?

if you bet on him against the field, you won the bet by 2 strokes. alternatively, 2 better than next best

i.e. when you bet "the field" at the US Open, you get the best score of everyone who didn't have individual odds

Nesbitt's card was ridiculous, I don't know which is more impressive.

6 hole stretch of 1-over
4 eagles
Only 5 birdies, none of which on his first nine.

wtf, 4 eagles?

Last guy I can think of that had 4 eagles in a round was Kim Jong Il.

4 eagles........... only 2 on par 5s.......

i wonder how many of the sub-60 rounds have had a non-par 5 eagle (i.e. luck or driveable par 4).....

i'd be curious to know if Nesbitt holded out twice. was it lowery or flesch to holed out twice in one round at that colorado tourney with stableford... it's all memory (could be wrong) but i thought lowery/flesh holed out from a long way both times.

Yeah - was modified stableford and it was Steve Lowery - epic finish, but just came short. I'm surprised they haven't played more of them as it was amazing to watch.
