Ridiculous to have only ~1/2 the field exempt.

10-20 spots would be plenty for "dreamers & wanna bees"

Guess that's how the USGA makes money.

The whole point of an open is to be open. Of course they should have lots of qualifying spots. We have a major with only the top pros, its called the PGA.
