The guy who shot 91 in round 1 is +23 thru 14 on round 2. He may not break 100 at this rate. JFC....

the player in 2nd place shot 79 in round 1

funny that round 1 very few ok scores. round 2 alot more but still tons of players over 80 in round 2 too. an excellent local player was 170 for 2 rounds

must have been a morning-afternoon split to the scoring each day. and then not sure but i think there were delays so maybe some players lucked out with mostly good condtions and some others got mostly bad conditions.

more bahamas decimation math from the first 2 rounds.

a 95 was shot in each of the first 2 rounds.

one player had quad and quintuple bogey.

another player had triple, quad and 2 quintuple bogeys.

the players had quintuples on the same hole. the 12th which played 1.5 strokes over par the first day.

JT with a solid 59. Spieth may be right that last weeks win opened the floodgates. Apparently started on the back 9 as well so nothing like an eagle finish to go out in style. Wouldn't be surprised if he lead the tour in wins this year

i see JT is 5 better than the field and it looks like it will take an afternoon player to cut into that lead. usually afternoon scores are a little higher though.

i remember asking when graeme delaet bested the field by 5 strokes one round if that was the most ever.

i saw recently that al geiberger's 59 (memphis??) was 6 strokes better than field.

i would be shocked if anyone has done 7 strokes better on pga tour.

Was getting annoyed with all the post-round "coverage" of Smylie and Jordan, but I must say the payoff wipe out was worth it.

3 courses, so cut after 3 rounds. And yes it is still a proam, but each pro only has one partner. Back in the Bob Hope days, you would see one pro and a group of 3 or 4 ams. They always show highlights of 90 year old Bob Hope playing with presidents 38, 41, and 42 and a pro.

A good trivia question: Name the pro golfer who completed the fivesome.
