Relief from abnormal ground conditions, 25-1. Hoffman claimed that part of his stance was on normal bunker sand, but his heel was not on normal bunker sand, hence abnormal ground condition.

Drop within one club length of nearest point of relief, no nearer hole.

Favorable ruling? Of course it was, but it pays to know the rules.

IMO Chappell's comments were inappropriate, friends or not.

Still think it would...actually didn't realize this is a Par 70 so my 158.5 O/U might be a bit high. 155 might be more accurate.

I'm sure there will be plenty of hot takes, but him being near the top of the leaderboard isn't a surprise to me. His ball striking has been good all year and he just finished top 5 in the Open. I don't know if it happened today, but him winning one is just a matter of his putter getting hot which it will eventually.
