Actually - three. Make it a mixed event. But then the asian women would win it for the world every time so that's not really competitive either.

I am an avid golf fan but cancelling it would not be a bad idea either. Even when the golf is competitive, the rivalry is artificial.

They need to consider changing the format so it will align with the Ryder Cup. The current format doesn't allow the international team to hide weaker players, which is killing them since they don't have the depth like the US team.

I believe the Internationals made the case to change the format to make it more competitive, but that was back when the US was getting crushed in the Ryder Cup... And of course the PGA Tour shot down that proposal. Obviously the PGA Tour wants to protect their every other year pep rally...

I'd be ok if they stuck a fork in this event. There are plenty of other good events throughout the year.

this would actually be best. and having to play an event every year ever so slightly reduces the U.S.'s chances of winning the Ryder Cup imo.
