I prefer this method of teaching:

I love that dumbass movie, so many good lines.

"There is no movement in golf that cannot be made more difficult through diligent study and practice."

"When you stop your backswing at the top to look at the position of your hands, there are two things you learn: how many hands you have, and which hand has the glove on it."

Leslie Nielsen's - Bad Golf Made Easier

it's only 48 minutes long and soooooooooo corny but i did lol a few times. he says you shouldn't take a lost ball penalty because someone will find it and it's not like they'll turn it in to the clubhouse so it's really a stolen ball. i used that line today.

Oh yeah, take the corniness of every Leslie Nielsen movie and multiply by 10. So, SOOOOO dumb. I love it, though.

Whole thing is on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjAU...nel=PhilCipher

So surprising that a guy would come in bashing and then not follow up when asked to point out the very simple and obvious flaws he finds in DECADE.

Shocked I am.

By the way, did you see how short they were playing the par 3’s this weekend compared to our qualifier two years ago? On Saturday they played #4 from 165, we had 209. #7 Sunday was 176 I believe, we had 242. They did seem to play #15 all the way back.

But still, what a bunch of pussies. Ha!

They built the grandstands over the back tee on 17!

update

only 21 players made the cut in the 2020 US Open, 2021 Masters, and 2021 PGA. only two players have a top 10 in all three, and one particular player has the best combined score.

Yep, impressive. And back up to 27 in the OWGR. Ahead of Spieth and Phil.

I lol'd when I read that too...this really was the spot where you can read all of the ideas formulating from 2011 through this thread.

What's really funny is I quite often glaze over 2+2 because I'd just about die if that thread made it to more eyeballs. It's so bad, funny, forward looking to my Twitter image...it has it all!

Just read the article. Only a writer could use DECADE and say "Yes, my game is better, but at what cost?"

You like shortsiding yourself dude???

start the year with no status
finish it by winning the Arnold Palmer Award as the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year
congrats to Will, and a golf clap to Scott.

Technically wins Rookie of the Year as a non-member. Yes special temporary member, but I'd love to know if anyone else has pulled that off. Maybe it's common but I doubt it!

Currently T1 after a tidy little 11 under 61. Sitting in great shape heading into the weekend. LFG!

Edit: solo first now

Filthy round. This is going to be the PGA Tour for the next era it seems. Guys who absolutely flush it and get hot with the putter 5 times per year and rake it in

Theegala -3 through 4 and charging up that leaderbaord, too

yeah, his Masters performance is a perfect example of getting hot with the putter at the right time.

i was curious about his second round today so i did a little data dive to try to understand how he got to -11.
