$86k!

So probably $50k after caddy fees.

Still a good week's work!

Golf is a really good thing to be the 100th best at.

Good for him though solid showing, hopefully he can Monday in and keep it going

Saw this on Scott from the summer, pretty cool:
http://www.dmagazine.com/publication...-scott-fawcett

I'm not trying to over simplify Scott's work, but just thinking "shotgun instead of sniper rifle" has made a big difference in my game. I'll go 5 or 6 holes and think "man, I'm hitting the ball terrible" and I'm like 1 or 2 over through those 6 holes, which is good for me. Or I'll shoot a great score for me and think to myself, "I really did nothing at all special, I just didn't get in any trouble." Back when I was younger, for me to shoot the same score would've meant I chipped in twice or made 3 40 footers or something.

I don't have the raw data, but considering we are likely all at least decent poker players on here, it's not that hard to deduce your pot odds on various shots.

Man...nothing can compare to the final round of 2nd stage.

My man played great today. 66 and low round of the day. What a feeling. He hit it all over the place for 50 of the first 54 holes. But today was almost flawless.

I've played in a major, made it to Q School Finals as an amateur, caddied in the finals of the US Jr, consulted NCAA and US Am wins, caddied in a Tour T-12. None come close to the pressure and crazy intensity of 2nd Stage final round.

I'm smoked. I'll probably have a trip report next week.

7 seemed to be a fair number to advance, but there's two things I want to know. 1, how was the course set up? 2, how the **** did someone shoot -22 the first three days? 66-66-62? Holy crap.

Also, I love how you say your man hit it all over the place yet still shot 67 on day 1!

Course was fine. The rough was no big deal so avoiding bogey's wasn't that hard. Pins were standard Tour pins. -22 is amazing simply considering it was howling the first 36 holes. I'm sure you've been to Craig Ranch though, the wind was perfect to make the course play about as easy as it can aside from how strong the wind was. Holes 6, 9, 12, 14 and 18 all had the benefit of helping wind. That really sets you up for some simple birdies.

Beyond that, with ball in hand due to the mud balls that zoysia can create it really wasn't too difficult of conditions.

He did hit it pretty bad the first day. He was -5 through 4 and then really hit some loose shots from there in. 4 flat out chunked approach shots.

One impressive performance was put up my Kramer and Jordan's other roommate, Alex Moon. Opened with 77 and closed with 67-67-66 to cruise through. That's pretty strong work.

Kid I caddied with made a quad on 17 at Web.com q-school to miss by 2 strokes of having his web.com tour card...gotta be a horrible feeling.

Hi.

It's been a fun couple of years starting with that picture. US Jr, NCAA, US Am, 16 college team wins, 15 individual college wins, and some other BIG stuff I can't even discuss.

I'm finishing up a project in the next two months that I'll talk about here some when it's done. You guys will love it since you're mathy golf nerds like me.

Thanks, certainly been a surreal and crazy couple of weeks. The poor kid has just been messed up since two massive concussions 18 months ago. Amazing.

Quite a bit should be coming soon about the entire story.

Certainly puts it all in perspective.
