Yeah being 14 in the 25 is great. I haven’t looked on how the restart is affecting cards for next season other than I know everyone who has a tour card this season is good for next season but I hope he doesn’t get screwed.

Will tied for 11th after 2rds of Korn Ferry Utah stop. He's -10, 3 shots back. Golf channel has coverage later today. They showed a lot of him coming in yesterday.

Some interesting new exemptions for 4 year college players coming online.

Playing awesome; seems like only a matter of time for him to get a win. This week seems well suited for it; the course has wide fairways and despite being super long the altitude makes it play a lot more "normal".

When I caddied at this event last summer I watched Will hit balls on the range; kid is unbelievable and seems like he should print money on Tour for a while - especially as his short game and putting keep improving and he progresses.

I wonder if they still have the jump to the PGA tour in place this year again. Don't know exactly what the requirements are/were but Will must be getting close with a win and several top10's. Either way it seems he's destined for next year.

Right thanks. 3 wins is a pretty tough bar and in a shortened year very unlikely I would think. I see next weeks stop is in San Antonio. Nice homecoming for him.

Will Update:

- Finished T5, 5 shots back last week at San Antonio Tourney #2.

- Shot -5 (67) today in the 1st round of this week's event in Springfield, MO and is T13. Leader is -8.

Pretty amazing stuff from Will since the restart. The battleground promotion will run all the way through next season. The top 10 will get in the opposite field events on the PGA Tour next season. It will be a wraparound season for The 25 that I think will be interesting to see how it goes. Guys like Will that get starts will either have to play almost every week between both Tours or choose one to focus on at some point or they won't be in good shape on either points list end of season.

That lipout in Utah was just nasty.

Quick Update on Will.

#1 on pts list
14/14 cuts made (last season there were 27 events)
9 top 10's (worst finish T34)

Boise Open 2 weeks ago - T-18
Ohio last week - T5
This tourney ended with a bit of a disaster IIRC he started 3 back with 5-6 guys ahead. By time he hit 15? he was in the lead shooting -3 or so for the day to that point. (leaders fell off) He then bogeyed 17 and 18 to finish 2 back. ugh.

Tour Championship this week - Once again on the leaderboard after 2 rds. Haven't watched today yet.
