A new season has already started, so let's gogogo.

This guy won all the monies at the end of last season...

This guy won a couple majors, including one in the dark...

This guy winced his way through a few events before shutting down for his various back injuries...

This guy didn't have a very good season, and he hates Tom Watson...

You'll see these guys and a couple hundred others over the course of the next 12 months.

hey OP... i see you're from ottawa........ what is brad fritsch's status this year? i saw him in pga opener last week but i wouldn't have thought he would be eligible.....
10-14-2014 , 09:55 PM
2 local guys from vancouver with their first pga tourneys as tour members....

hadwin was good first couple of days... didn't do much on weekend.... nick taylor missed cut.

tracking them and delaet last week it seemed like alot of weird shots happened. tree troubles or deep rough? seemed like sometimes they only advanced ball 60 yards from 200 yards.

Must of been heavy rough. Multiple times over the weekend I checked shot tracker and saw players who had greenside shots of like 22 feet from the rough, wind up with 35 feet coming back.

Gonna be a huge year for Phil. Is he done? Does he have one or two more elite seasons in him?

I lean towards him pretty much being done but dude has so much talent that I certainly wouldn't be shocked if he proves me wrong.

agree he's mostly done... might pop up with occasional great result, like when johnny miller won at pebble

As much as I am a huge Phil fan I think you may be right. Could be the end of Phil and Tiger. Gonna hurt the tour also.

Weak field in Vegas

Koepka gonna ball this season

Sick finish in Vegas that course is set up to have some craziness happen on the last four.

Lol unless Tiger keeps injuring himself he's far from done, my Canadian friend.

I think his injuries will be the issue. He isnt some young buck anymore
10-22-2014 , 12:17 AM
it's been good so far for the two canadians i'm following closely.

hadwin has been in the mix in both tourneys so far and has picked up two nice cheques.

nick taylor did very well last week except for a quadruple bogey on the 2nd hole on sunday. from following his scores for awhile (and having seen him play) i think he needs to tighten this up alot. seems disaster holes (maybe not quads) are more common for him than other guys i see. great shots are much more common for him too of course

interestingly, hadwin and taylor grew playing same little semi-private club in abbotsford, bc (very very distant suburb of vancouver). very tight course. seems like you'd develop your game so much more at a course like that than at some of the name resort courses i've played (one in particular i think there's only two holes where you can get into alot of trouble easily)

tiger actually has to play some events in good shape to have a chance at winnning more events and/or majors... the trend the last 5 years is pretty bad (and alot of it isn't tiger's fault)
10-22-2014 , 02:31 AM
He won 8 tournaments in the 2 years before last season when he was just getting back into form. That was a decent trend.
10-26-2014 , 01:01 PM
I can't tell u how close I was to backing will MackenZie at 400/1 but opted for Trevor immelman instead who didn't even play . Man I hope visions of Dustin Johnson stalk him today and he balls up

This start of wrap-around season is lame.

I liked when there was an off/silly season.

I have got to think ratings are abysmal.

Eh, first place still clear $1MM+ which leads me to believe the ratings can't be THAT bad but I could be wrong.
