Visa overstay question (Colombia)

I was dumb and overstayed my visa in Colombia. Apparently the fine ranges between ~$120 and $500+ depending on what kind of mood the immigration officer is in.
The thing is, I renewed my passport with the embassy while I was here in Colombia because it was about to hit its 10-year expiration date. So my current passport has no stamp saying when I entered Colombia. Would anything happen if I just showed up at the airport and tried to leave with my blank passport?

I'd imagine the migracion officer would ask you why you don't have a stamp on your passport.

I guess, but I'm not required to have my old passport with me right?

I don't know, but it sounds like you have a great plan to end up in Colombian jail and I wish you the best of luck on it.

Well since you arrived through customs you are in their register obv.. So they can see when you arrived and at what port..
I would call embassy with something like damn i totally forgot about it.

You probably have to transfer your old visa to your new passport at the immigration office before being able to leave the country.

The way his question sounds he prolly lost or threw away his old passport. Yeah sorting this out before the airport sounds like a pretty good idea
