I was wondering if anyone has any experience having overstayed in a country and then traveling to other countries on the same passport and whether that has any impact on being allowed to enter other countries.
Note : I have a 1st world passport, and am mostly interested in third world countries. As much as that term even has any meaning any more. But u know, busto countries.

If in doubt, "lose" your passport or get a second one if your country allows that.
Keep in mind if you apply for visas you often need to state if you have ever lost a passport and that might cause additional scrutiny.
Thailand pre COVID was basically looking for reasons not to let you in if you aren't on a short holiday. Nowadays no idea.
Other places like Vietnam also were trying to get rid of long term tourists so it basically depends on how friendly the place is where you're going and what their current policies are + the immigration officer.
It's always best to avoid female officers and angry serious looking guys that manage slow moving lines.

Did you really get a "visa overstay sticker"? Afaik, there is no such thing.
Some countries with serious visa process, like US and western Europe, may ask if you ever overstayed. Others usually don't care.
