i'm planning my first trip to Vancouver.

i found a cheap flight to Bellington, WA with allegiant air. i hear there's a quick shuttle to Vancouver from there. does anyone have experience crossing the Canadian border in WA? I will have some cash on me since I plan on playing some poker while i'm there (less than 6K). i wonder what kind of security i will go through. it'd suck to have them confiscate my cash or anything. do they basically just check your Driver's license, or do they go through your bags and pockets and etc.?

if anyone have any tips for this trip, it would help me out a lot. thanks!

You need a passport to cross the border. quickcoach.com stops by the airport I believe. If you take the shuttle, you'll go through the border crossing on foot w/ all your luggage. The process is similar to one for an international flight.

No, they won't confiscate your cash. But you will need a passport.

It's all very easy.

This. Just fly into Seattle, rent a car, stop at a few casinos on the way up (Tulalip is nice). The scenery on the way up is worth the drive.
