My residential complex is Э-shaped and my view is on the outside... the plants aren't going to get much light, though, because the window faces west-northwest and there's a tree in front of it. There aren't going to be any tall buildings in front of the window, though.
Studios in the crossbar of the "Э" are selling very poorly for the reason you mentioned and maybe also because there's going to be a kindergarten in the ground floor under them. Over 40% of them aren't booked yet.
