What happens in your fantasies is irrelevant to the definition of your sexual orientation.

What matters is who you desire to have partnered sex with.

By 'desire', I mean who you want to have sex with if all other circumstances are equal, i.e. sex that is had in order to make money or maintain a romantic relationship doesn't count. For asexuals, the answer is 'no one'.

Would I be wrong to assume that a large percent of the "asexual" community are obese, socially awkward individuals who aren't really desired by the opposite gender (or same gender) to have sex with, so they might as well declare themselves "asexual" to save face? Would that be a wrong assumption?

Socially awkward - I'd say mostly yes, but it's the by-product of their asexuality (the deprivation by the society) and not its cause.

Obese - mostly not, though they have one incentive less to keep themselves fit.

Ugly - mostly not, though they have one incentive less to wear makeup (some of them still do).

Anyway, as with other personality traits, it doesn't really matter what has caused it. Different people have different reasons but the trait is permanent and not a disorder.

Rejection of the opposite sex is a good reason. I'm aiming for K-Pop Idol, but in the end I'm sure I will end up rejected. Life could be much more simpler as a true asexual.

Chances are that you want something else than sex and would be OK if she denied you sexual contact forever but gave some other benefit to you, like a romantic relationship or maybe just the right to touch her, listen to her or look at her.

I don't think this bet is viable against humans because the surveillance* necessary for it could easily go wrong and I'd likely be made fun of for unrelated aspects of my life, not because of the requirement not to have sex.

More to do with the increased condom slippage/breakage with larger dicks. Since you're barebacking anyway it doesn't make much difference.
