Hi guys! After*nearly 3 years or 1000 days on the road, I wanted to share my travel costs with you and see if it might be interesting for some? I managed to get*the yearly average costs down to below 8500€ and my travel style might*not be suitable for everyone out there, but I still hope that it can provide some insights and help you plan your next trip!

How much does it cost to travel the world?

Spending only $2 per day on accommodation seems insane.

Depending on where you are, there are opportunities to camp out as well.

For example, in Scotland the Land Reform Act offers people the right to camp in any unenclosed area (though some special places like Loch Lomond might require a permit due to overuse).
