Squaw got absolutely hammered for 700"+ last season so Im thinking about making a trip out there during the holidays with my wife in hopes of catching some fresh gnar

Peppermill seems to be the top dog in the area. Im wondering how games are in and around Squaw Village or if it is better to travel the 1 hour (assuming good road conditions) to Reno.

What are your favorite rooms in Squaw/Reno?

Not quite what you're looking for but the room at Harvey's Tahoe was incredible this summer, super soft games, very very few grinders.

Also, the hotel itself delivered WAY above my expectations (my girlfriend loved it too). Nice rooms, ridiculous views, *every* single staff we met was super friendly & room service was delivered in 20 minutes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Harvey's again.

So not quite Reno but might be worth a side trip for you.

there are multiple ski areas around tahoe that are incredible after a snowfall. you dont want to concentrate only on s.v.
i personally always liked alpine better.

small to medium stakes poker is good at south tahoe and reno on weekends.
