Beautiful Ocean and City Views
10-15 minute drive to the beach, downtown Rosarito, freeway, etc..
45 minutes to wine country
30 minutes to Mexican/US border

That's a little generous isn't it? The only worthwhile wine country out there is in the Valle de Guadalupe/El Provenir/Ruta Del Vino area and that's more than an hour from Rosarito, maybe like 1h15m or so.

I have lived here nearly 6 years, it is an hour to Ensenada from my place, Valle de Guadalupe is before you hit Ensenada..not sure which route you take.

CORRECTION: the TURN OFF to Guadalupe/Ruta del Vino is before you hit Ensenada. It's still a ways to wine country. If you consider the Museo de Vino to be in the middle of wine country, that's at least 25-30 mins from the turn-off.

I own a house in Ensenada and my wife's parents (FIL is ex-police from Guadalupe) own a fruit ranch in wine country (just down the road from El Cielo, which everyone knows) and my brother-in-law has a ranch in El Provenir. I may not know much in this world, but I know my Baja wine country

So, yeah, 1 hour from Rosarito to the turnoff, another 30 minutes to wine country.

or you can turn off at La Mision and be there in 45 min from my place

I doubt anyone who wants to rent the room gives a rats ass about how far it is to wine country btw, but thanks for the input

anyone have a room or know of a cheap place to stay near rosarito? i want to move to mexico for about 6 months and see how it goes since i cant play online at any good sites here in texas
