Read through thread and just wondering on up to date info on the live scene in Prague. What games run and how often? What casinos are best recommended to play in? What's rake (and are there any rakeback/perks etc)? I have googled and searched on twoplustwo but I'm not sure how up to date my info is. Thanks in advance.

http://www.easy-poker.cz/poker-casino-prague/

Good info there.

Games from 0,5/1$ up to 2/4$. Hard to find 2/4$ though. Games play deep so they are usually bigger than it sounds. Lots of regs, especially Hilton (nicest casino with daily 2/4$ and rakeback) plays like NL50 FR online table.

On http://pokerzive.cz/ you can check what games are currently running. Its usually possible to play 24/7 if you dont mind playing the 0,5/1$.

From my experience its possible to make a living in Prague out of live poker but it will be hard to build up a roll. All in all Prague games have worst reg/fish ratio Ive ever seen anywhere.

Prague is OK for live poker, but online is dead and there will be some problems with live tourneys also - see this article: http://www.pokerarena.cz/rubriky/zak...ion_12312.html

Just use AirBNB. For acquiring a property, befriend some English speaking Czech to guide you :-)

PokerStars is legal in CZ by now, PartyPoker is not. I don't keep tabs on the others, Alkaatch does, ask him.

There is no EN version of the site. Anyway, the offer is quite poor there, I'd recommend https://www.sreality.cz/en instead.

Going to be in Prague next weekend. First time ever can't wait! Is it possible for a tourist to buy ticket to football games? It's an international break so the only match I know of is Germany-Czech Republic WCQ next Friday. How hard would it be to find two tickets? Anyone have two for sale? Any 2nd tier or lower matches going on that weekend?

Hi

I've heard there is a smoking ban in the Czech Republic now.
Is it still possible to smoke in the casinos?
Is Ambassador smoke free now?

I have been to Prague many times, but the last time I discovered interesting place, a massage salon I wanted to relax after hard day, that was really extraordinary but cool!
