Whats up people ,

Here to give you an update of the original thread that was started by me a few months ago regarding a pokerhouse in Spain, here is the old thread post (Important that you read old post first and check the update since i am looking for players) :

"I am looking for 1-2 serious grinders that are willing to move down to Malaga and improve their online/ pokergame together with me, go through hands, sessions etc, strategy, play live at casinos here (2 main casinos here in the area, very soft competition with many games to chose from), share rent obviously etc..

About me:

I am 26, originally from Sweden but have lived here in Malaga for the last 3 years. My main occupation is Real-estate but most of my income here in Spain has come from poker which i have been playing for 5+ years.

I grind NL200 - NL400 online, at the live circuit i play anything from 2/5 (nl500) up to to 5/10 which are offered here at the casinos, i play 80% of the major live tournaments in Spain. I have previously had staking-deals with a few Scandinavian pros here which have helped me build up my bankroll.

Apartments, housing is not a problem at all, the real-estate market here is pretty dull so prices are relatively cheap, 2 bedroom apartment would be around 400-800 Euros for standard to medium-luxury apartment in the city Centre of Malaga and Marbella. And its easy to get around here since the public transportation is widely spread. I do have my own car, so anyone sharing an apartment with me that has a drivers license is free to use the car =).

I am not going to go into details about Malaga (as this would be a 10k page post), you are free to Google and do research about the area. If you are interested or want to know anything else please PM me."

So after i posted this (above) 2 grinders from Norway and Estonia contacted me and came down here, the Estonian dude had to go back due to health problems and the Norwegian dude is still here grinding both online and live, the WPT event is running atm in Marbella, many good cash tables including some high stakes PLO, as for the main event, i busted early day 1 :/, but much better results at the cash .

Ok, as most of you know Spain is regulating online gambling very soon, June/July if all goes all planned But there is extremely good action at the live circuit and as stated earlier the competition is still very soft (2:10).

Not all online sites will be controlled by ISP, so there are still ways to get around the regulation to an certain point*.

My point is there is still good money to be made here and when and if the online regulation comes to full effect (100% restriction) there are other countries to move to such as Portgual (few hours away) which offers a huge selection of great poker. So I am trying to find a team, maximum 1-2 people more to continue just as before.

Update on the location: Marbella, 0.5 km to Casino Marbella and less than 1 km to the beach. 3 bedroom apartment with sea views, very spacious. We might get a bigger or smaller apartment depending on how many people are coming. Everything will be equally shared and payed for.

Send me a PM if you are intrested or have any questions

P.S if requested; i can send photos of the apartment.

Looks beautiful. What's the weather like from June-October. I was looking into going to Mallorca and someone I know that lives there says it's too hot July-August.

Hope you enjoy your time there!

Hey, are the games still good down there? Living in Madrid and trying to decide where to travel to to play. Would love some advice about the whole of Spain.

I split time between Valencia and Barcelona for 3 years. There are way better places to make a living playing poker. The taxes are high. The rake is bad. The game isn't booming there. I guess when the EPT came through the action was better but overall it's meh.
