Hey,

I will be in vietnam starting september for at least 3 months. I've been pretty much all around SEA, vietnam included. However, I never had the chance to experience nightlife scene vietnam.
Can anyone compare it to some degree to another city in SEA ?

And also few words to stereotype girls in clubs ? normal girls, not hookers. I'm just wondering if girls are more like chinese (stay at home and never go out unless been abroad ), or some other nation ? From what I've read and remember I simply can't imagine what the mentality of girls there can be...

Yea, I would have other questions, but other questions we're solved by google and this thread

90% of girls that goes out a lot to club, bar ect are "working" girls in some type. either pro or less pro. What I mean is most girls that goes out has at least 3 type of bf. An old guy that provide the most money, a normal guy that she goes out with a lot and the third type are foreigner that she see once a month for a few days. If you are not from vietnam or live in vietnam for long you will be trick into believing this girls are sweet and inoccent. The only way you going to meet real wife material is if that girls come from a weathly family or a family that don't need money.

And trust me this girls are real pro and you not going to know the difference so my advice is to come here and have fun. It just the culture. Even pro have feeling so they do give out freebie but don't expect that she with you because you a cool guy w.o some kind of money involve. she might not ask for money straight out but don't be suprise if you have a little aurgment and she "disappear".

Yes, pretty much what Don says. There defiantly are girls who aren't like above but they are far in between.

This is how I do it. Meet a girl, we have a good time. Take it slow even as I don't care as fun is fun no matter what it involves. Always upfront on not knowing where things will go. I pay for most everything while she occasionally covers the smaller stuff. I hardly ever go to pricey places unless its worth it so they know I don't flash money. Really up to them if they want to stick around.

The point...? The inevitable always comes where she says she needs money for some reason or another. One even told me she cant **** for free. So the norm here is to give your girlfriend or fun buddy some kind of allowance. Its regular even for the locals if they have a decent paying job. More money; better looking girls. Been that way for ages, everywhere.

If you want a "good girl" choose a ugly girl and that only increases your odds as there are a lot of ugly ones that work in the expat areas. If you really want a "good girl" find one in non popular locations. The normal areas where everyday living is.

Morning, arrived here yesterday, did visa on arrival then went to Saigon Pearl for dinner, we ordered a Johnny Walker and then went to Apocalypse Now.

I have a nice hangover to start my trip, not bad.

Lol @ this stickman story... I mean, what is the moral of that story? That some vietgirls are greedy, heartless and professional scam-artists?

Rather that random foreigner shouldn't go to Thailand/Vietnam, hook up with a prostitute and think they can marry them, get them out of that biz and give them a better life. What a BS, imagine you would try to get one of the girls from a Western bothel out of that biz by telling her to marry her etc....it would pretty much end the same way.

Is anyone here concerned with the euro crises?

I wanted to withdraw but held out till after the Greece vote. I didn't believe that they would vote to leave the Euro but played on the safe side since it is so volatile imo.

So I waited till after the vote to process my withdraw and even now hesitant as I know its a good possibility the Euro could drop slightly.

So is anyone concerned where they process a withdraw, it takes 3-5 days to process and hit your bank and the Euro drops 25%?
