since you seem to be looking all over sea many of the same places i want to live or have lived ill break it down for you what are realistic rent costs living short term month to month.
bkk: 800-1k asoke-thonglo (can find around 600 if willing to live near end of bts @ onnut/udomsuk)
pattaya: 350-500 a month living in 4/5 star condos really is cheapest ive found anywhere in sea.
saigon: 800 month for any of the newer high rises. 500-600 for "serviced apartments" i have stayed in many and do not recommend any of them for multitude of reasons.
vung tau: 450-600 month. nice places with good furniture sea view etc. there is nice ferry/speedboat that connects to saigon and shorter then taking bus.
da nang: same as vung tau.
manilla: ~500 a month basically all studios from what i could find, no clue on quality as i have not gone but if you splurge to 800ish can get a place like gramercy.
cebu: slightly more expensive then manilla 500-600 ish.

people will say you can find better prices using facebook groups. yes that is true but all the better priced places want min 6 month contracts and 1 month deposit.

you can add 100-300 a month to all those above prices for the month of december/january. i learned the hard way and may decide to return to mexico before that time rolls around again but if i decide to stay out here ill be looking to lock down a 6 month contract somewhere around september

Anyway, Thailand is out of the question since Partpoker aint allowed here. I will leave for Manila next week, stay there a little while before Cebu. Guess Ill just use Airbnb there, after that I will find a apartment for 6 months in Vietnam, Vung Tau or Da Nang.

It's an extremely corrupt country. In Thailand people have limits with it comes to corruption and embezzlement (likely due to the monarchy) and in the Philippines they don't, which is why everything is **** tier quality and extremely expensive, save for unskilled labor.

Nothing wrong with BKK, stay for a month and an especially good place as a landing spot to start your trip.
Your 25, set up some dates, take the girls out for drinks or whatever have some deep conversations about how hot the weather is and whether or not you are hungry or like spicy and then bang.

I have now made it to Quezon City, getting through all the airport stuff was a pure hell because I went here when the Thais started their holliday. Walking the streets here in Quezon City as a white dude is kinda fun, alot of stares. My grab driver yesterday told me the area I live in now, is safe, both in day and nighttime. We was driving through some areas that are only 1 km away, and told me that I should not go there at night because of many squatters. If he got a grab customer from some of these areas, he would just cancel them because he was afraid his car would get stolen or something, ****s real.

If it's just one girl, no problem, but generally always be friendly with them, make some small talk without revealing too much about yourself, if you see them smoking offer some smokes, small stuff that doesn't cost much money or time.

Obviously don't be so friendly that they think you're trying to suck up to them or want to be a genuine friend that hangs out with them in their free time and don't make them think you have a ton of money either - just enough to keep them on your good side so they don't feel like messing with your girls.
