I know it's been suggested before but the guy who set up Vipassana retreats, S.N. Goenka, suffered from headaches that could not be cured by doctors all over the world. Then a friend suggested he tried Vipassana meditation and his headaches went away.

i think i played with trolol today, some new guy ive never played with named tim sharky in .05-.10 PLO, had to slum it in trolol stakes cuz only 5 holdem games running and no higher PLO

handing out numbers has been hard recently, malls so overcrowded for the holidays that good approach spots are scarce, had to do some forced ones in spots i usualyl wouldnt do, but still not getting many out, but getting high efficiency text back rates (got a textback the last 4 days despite only handing out 2, 1, 2, and 3 numbers)

maybe they are just happier and more friendly during the holiday season

but...... today im at a 2nd tier mall, a mall i rarely go to, and havent seen any hot girls at all in an hour, i walk past a cute sales girl on the 4th floor and give her my number, then i am on the third floor and see another cute girl that works there, she has a customer very near her so i stand by and wait....... and some guy with an earpiece comes and stands right next to me in a spot where he had no reason to come just stand...... i also think he said something to the girl as he passed by


it was really weird, im not certain he worked there, but i know they have plain clothed security guys at all these malls, on the other hand the earpiece was so obv...... on the other hand wtf else could it have been?

i obv didnt give her my number and gtfo


then on my way home i have to pick up some KFC for my friend who was visiting, i had to wait 10 minutes for part of her order, i went outside and strolled around and when i came back my bag was sitting there with food in it....... but the girl at the counter next to me is the hottest girl i had seen all day and i already had a number in hand, the cashier walked away and no one else in line so i handed her my number after grabbing the food...... then after 3 steps the cashier is like sir the rest of your order and awkwardness ensued as I had to go back

so day 1, 2 and 3 of no pills went as great as could be expected

day 1 98% headache free, small one came on before bed, felt that it was still there off an on throughout the night and woke up with one, but after i ate it basically went away through all of day 2, i was fatigued as could be but didnt have a headache

day 3 was 85% headache free but before bed a STRONG one started coming on, i was quite scared and went to bed an hour early

16 hours later i just now am getting out of bed, threw up 5 times, awesome that one of the 3 or 4 true 'migraines' ive had all year actually has to come on a no pills day

it was pretty much hell, it hurt to bad to sleep, tried to get out of bed three times and each time was like umm no this isnt working and had to go lay down again

fun times...... sharpening my knife for payback watch your back dude

I am not a doctor but movies teach me that withdrawal from something sounds like what you experienced, so maybe it's a good sign.

But I am also surprised you are actually going through with this. The article said 5% to 10% of people have them because of painkillers so your odds are not that good, so basically you choose your treatments not by the chances of working but by ease of implementation. You should probably see more doctors or try more things even if they are too much hassle.
