lebron getting two wins out of that 2015 roster might be even more impressive then leading last years finals in every key stat AND the ridic block

really has nothing to do with this year in any way though

celtics are miles away and when all of the superstars are on the same teams those miles are pretty hard to catch up, gordon hayward aint gonna do it, #1 pick maybe down the line

Yeah, on the Celtics thing, I don't mean I think the Celtics will legitimately challenge the Cavs anytime in the next few years, more like when LeBron starts to lose a step or two 4 or 5 years from now they may be the team that steps up to take the Cavs place in the finals. Of course that's quite a few years from now, and at this point it's really all just speculation anyway.

But as long as the Warriors stay together fully as they are now winning rings is going to be tough for LeBron to do.

K2D did you relocate to South America yet or still in SEA.

Interesting stories about Sports betting as I had lunch with olm8 yesterday and he is banned from all online accounts in Australia. I offered for him to bet under my name but he has done that and it was a drama. He has had 3 of 6 fig collects on sports plus more on Horse Racing.

I call him Goldfinger as everything he touches, anyway the last one to give him the flick was Ladbrokes. He was in New York for New Year a few years ago with his Lady Blind drunk and got back to room and his mate had texted him saying I hope you got set. He had a bet of 1k eachway at 150 to 1 on the Big Race in Perth and it won plus approx 185K aud, Ladbrokes rang him and said because you are overseas when you placed bet they wouldnt pay. But in the end they settled fully.

A story last week of a Comp geek in Sydney had purchased $25 worth of BC back in the day and was ripped off paying overs but did it with investment so didnt worry. It is worth over 4 mil now but he threw the hard drive away when moving a couple years ago. He doesnt really care as he said he would have sold them ages ago anyway, It reminded me of you K2D. *** I would be digging up the rubbish tip.

ya that would be tilting, and online sportsbooks are a pain in the ass these days it sounds

yes the celtics are set up very nicely for the future, their current team is nothing special

think the wizards are the real current threat if they can get a bench, but even then as long as lebron keeps playing like this it doesnt matter

Nobody is a threat in the East until LBJ gets old. Thing about him is he never misses games and i dont even know when hes going to decline hes superhuman. Maybe 3 more years of being the best?

In the west if Chris Paul decides to take a paycut and join the spurs they could be a threat. Even with Paul on the spurs warriors are still the favs though.

here is what to look for to know if you should bet warriors or cavs in game 2, 3, and 4

if the warroiors have the same defensive strategy of switch everything and let lebron get a pick from currys man and then get a 1 on 1 vs steph the cavs will keep things close and cover.... that strat is why they lost last year

if they make the (obvious) adjustment and dont spoon feed the cavs with exactly what they want the warriors will blow them out of every game unless the cavs shoot out of their ass

so basically your 2 lines of text are the difference of about 20 points per game, thats amazing, let's somehow make sure the warriors front office reads this and fires their coaching staff

go rewatch last years finals and watch how they defended it

lebron shot 34% from three during the playoffs and 31% during the season

here is an idea, go under the pick and roll and make an ineffecient three point shooter hit a bunch of shots to beat you instead of letting a 6'8 270 lb physical freak back down someone that looks like a high schooler

at least try it and make him shoot you out of that strategy first

when your opponent wants to do something you probably shouldnt just let them walk into doing it

mark jackson even comments 'if im cleveland if you are gonna switch that pick and roll im gonna come back down and run that same exact action, lets see if you do it again'

they kept doing it and lived with the results

every play is the same, lebron takes the ball to the left wing walks into a pick and roll to get iggy off him often getting curry or in some cases ezeli on him

Fo-Fo-Fo...Fo... 16-0 ? Actually possible you think??

Feels like Lebron is too good to be swept. I mean he has been swept in the finals once before, but that was a long time ago and this Lebron is that much better than that Lebron was, this Cavs team is that much better than that Cavs team was, and although the 2017 Warriors might be a better team than the 2007 Spurs were, can't imagine the skill gap between the two teams this year isn't much smaller than it was that year.

Nah i dont think they sweep. Cavs will ship at least one at home. It'll take LBJ and Irving to play perfect and most likely when the warriors are up 3-0 but yeah cavs get one for sure.

Aren't the Celtics the next dynasty? They seem like a good, young team and have like 6 1st rd picks the next 3 years or something stupid like that?

At present they certainly seem poised to be the best team in the East when Lebron starts really showing his age in say 4 or 5 years from now. But some chance of that changing within that time I suppose, as K2d pointed out the Wizards could maybe be a contender as well.

Remember though that Curry and Durant are like four years younger than Lebron so good chance the Warriors will still be a powerhouse when/if the Celtics take over the East. Of course Curry may end up 'losing his legs,' within that time. Has been known to happen to jump shooters.

But if the Warriors stay together and healthy they stand to be a powerhouse team for a long while to come, even after Lebron stops being one.

And who will be the Celtics of the West anyway? Recent history suggests maybe the Spurs. Lakers are a long way off even if they have a good future ahead of them. In theory NO has itself a powerful tandem and if they could add one or two more pieces they could maybe be pretty sick, but I think DeMarcus Cousins is in the same category as Carmelo and Dwight Howard. Lots of natural talent and ability but don't have the right mental, emotional, psychological mindset needed to be a champion and thus never will be one.

Also the other teams in the West that regularly make the playoffs it just feels like they've already reached their ceiling and just aren't quite good enough. Clippers have been plagued by injuries but still just don't see them getting enough better at this point. OKC isn't really a team it's just a vehicle for Westbrook to pad his own personal stats. Rockets look pretty lol after getting destroyed by the Spurs when Kawahi wasn't even playing. Grizzles are getting too old.

Lebron and the Cavs aren't underdogs, but the Warriors are the team that may represent the real longer term issue as they may be the best team in the West for most of the next decade. And I mean the definitive best team for most of the next decade not just the over all best team. Like the Spurs have been the over all best team in the entire league for the last 20 years, but it's OK because they weren't nessicarily always the best team in the league at every given moment, but with the Warriors we could possibly see a decade of dominance second only to the one the 60's Celtics had...Or maybe Barkley's right and they are just an above average jump shooting team on a massive heater.

I guess time will tell.

Sixers have potential to be the next great team if some balls bounce their way. Embiid needs to stay healthy. Hes amazing but its a big if that he keeps his knees together. Another thing is Simmons has to develop into the special player he can be.

Sixers have the current 3 pick in a good draft, next years lakers 1st pick, and i believe the rights to a kings pick coming up as well. Also there own picks so yeah their in a amazing spot for the future.

The Twolves have some good young talent. Celtics are in a great spot obv. Then Warriors are going to good for a long time. Spurs are going to be really good for a long time with Kiwis age as well.

pretty sure kings dont have to give that pick up anymore

the celtics right now are not that good

they have an excellent coach and a roster full of 'tough' 'gritty' 'insert word for scrappy white player here' type guys but thomas is their only skilled player

if their draft picks turn into superstars then sure but thats no guarantee

Noobs missing the point of the sports betting talk. Its like this, if you took all your bitcoins and bet them on the warriors you would end up with 40% more bitcoins. No risk because thats how good the warriors are. Might be 2-3 more years before a sports bet this free is around at those odds!

OBV bitcoins have been the sheit to invest in but eventually their going to drop again i imagine. Nobody knows when thats going to be, or maybe im wrong and they'll go up another +infinity % even though everybody is on the investing train in them right now. Even my brother emailed me talking about he put some money into bitcoin and hes not even that internet savvy.

What i do know is warriors are the greatest basketball team ever and it was automatic!
