well its past ur place for sure. ur probably somewhere about half way from me to las olas/calafia area. its like 5-10 mins past the lobster joints id guess. its technically puerto nuevo address-wise, but not sure tbh.

As for your weak grasp of the geography of the area...Puerto Nuevo is a tourist town known for its lobster, probably 20 minutes south of downtown Rosarito...I live about 5 minutes south of Puerto Nuevo in a town that's actually called "Primo Tapia" as far as I can tell. You are even further south of that, not sure what the name of the town is, but I did want to make sure to troll you/point out that it's not Puerto Nuevo.

Hey I've just been reading all the posts in here... read through about 10 pages so far! I am very interested in moving down there asap. I am located in San Diego so I don't think I am too far away at all? I definitely want to go down there in the next couple days to check it out and possibly get a place right away. I have a roomate here(my brother's friend) that is actually from Mexico and speaks spanish so hoping he will go there with me, I myself know no spanish .

Just got to Rosarito last night. The border was hilarious, there was literally NO line. U roll up to a red light, a picture snaps, and the light turns green and bam u are in Mexico. Just met miguel and am going to go checkout some places pretty soon. So far this place and setup looks WAY better than where I was at in Canada.

It's taken a bit longer for me to get set up here than it did in Canada, but you can't beat the weather!

Oh was going to add, the last 2 transactions I had with moneybookers they charged their $2.35 fee or whatever it was like always, but then they charged an additional $35 phantom fee in adition to the $10 my bank charged for incoming wires. It was the same amount both times regardless of the size of the cashout. This didnt happen a few months before when i cashed out though.

I have a room available in my 2 bd condo in Las Olas Grand. It is $525 per month plus share of utilities. I actually pay $1,600 for the place and it is well worth it, but I am taking a small hit to get someone quickly.The utilities are $35 per month for cable. $35 per month for internet, and aprox $250 per month for electric. (total with utilities $720/mo) the condo is a great deal as it is the nicest 2bd unit in the complex. It is on the 18th floor and is a corner penthouse with 2 huge balconies and the bedrooms are dual masters with both being directly on the water with a balcony accessble from your room. This place has a ton of amnetities such as multiple pools and jacuzzies, an amazing gym and restaurant on site. There is 3 months left on the lease of my original 6 months. ( I have an option to extend an additional 6 months if I choose) I put 1k down as a deposit and want $250 up front as a deposit which you get back minus a $25 cleaning fee charged by the lanlord when we leave.

I play mtt's. I am 36. I am easy to get along with. I peel high grade banannas daily.(if u dont peel u must b fine with it/if u do u must provide ur own batch.)I grind in my room, but would consider getting a fold out table for some tandem sundays/sessions if interested. I don't go out much. I am not a drinker. I can get out n about when I'm feeling froggy.

Hey, does anyone know of a really nice gym within 40 minutes of Rosarito? I tried Anytime Fitness near Walmart and it's kinda low budget. Maybe I'm just a spoiled American but I like a gym with the nicer amenities: a basketball court, sauna, running water, electric lighting, etc.
