Thank You all for the varying opinions... Didn't mean to start anything with thread users. Just curious if there were local bike shops other than Walmart. I have an old Honda motorcycle &/or was thinking about buying a bike prior to relocation. Wondering if I could easily keep it maintained without having to go to TJ. Am personally not scared by hearsay & will ride with the best/worst of them; only was curious over convenience of either option & potential taxation costs of bringing them in. (Mainly the taxes on a street/mountain bike vs. buying in Mexico, as I can find the motorcycle stuff online.) I was more for/in favor of information regarding a bike scene/community... It hadn't been brought up yet so I asked.

This song comes to my mind... Eh; I think you could apply it to "the grind" of poker & needing a little beach, beer, bbq, & a bike, in the balance.

riding a bike as a standard mode of transpo here isnt a good idea. boliver and jdawg are simply nuts in this case imo. no diss, i just say what i feel and thats a nutty way to get around here imo. i understand boliver saying it as he is an adrinaline junkie like me. obv its not a 100% deathwish, but its far from sensible.

btw, im gonna need boliver to get my head str8 today at some point.lol. banannas baby!

There was talk of doing check deposit by phone if your US bank offers that feature.

Yeah ok, well I'm going to be living in Mexico this year. I'm US so I moved to Canada for the year and am planning on Mexico for next year so that shouldn't matter.

Boliver did you get the moneybookers to work? I never had to provide a SN (canadian social security number) to withdrawal in Canada so that would be messed up if you had to in Mexico.

I'm looking to move to Rosarito ASAP-if anyone has an extra bedroom or wants to get a 2 or 3 bedroom PM me.

I moved to Canada/Vancouver for 3 months earlier this year, looking for a warmer location now I'm also a San Diego native, so Rosarito just makes sense for my second trip...its like less than an hour away from where I am right now lol.

threaten to multi-account slash hate mail to moneybookers and they "reconsidered and approved" my account. or something. 4k on the way, thank god

edit: Many people looking to move down. I can put you in touch with 2-3 probably, but I believe our extra room is filled. I'll be back in mexiland manana and will sort some things out and hit ya back

Can vouch for UCLA being a cool dude and sick grinder. Would live with him if i hadnt booked my place.

See you guys in a couple weeks. Who's gonna take me to pop my HK cherry (aside from Jdawg obv )

And not that he needs more positive feedback, but big thanks to Miguel for helping me find my place.

Maybe a bit more worrisome 10 years ago, but one of these may not be a bad idea.

Did you guys see the new rake changes for Stars? Will this affect your plans? I'm mostly an SNG/MTT player so I doubt if I move it'll affect me.

seems like it will affect shortstackers more than anything, but deepstack players should be fine, they actually play poker postflop. thats my 1st impression, but this probably isnt the thread for too much in depth discussion on the matter. thanks for the HU for sure though. glgl.

cash players just got raped, and may transistion to MTTs/SnGs. big MTTs get tougher since actual skilled postflop players enter, and most turbo stuff gets softer since cash players have no idea <20bb. imo, for the short run at least

I think cash players will easily adjust and learn pretty quickly to sng/mtt play :-\. Unless like 50% of Stars traffic decides to play elsewhere, it really is the best place to get in a lot of volume on their 1 table sngs, turbo and hypers.

Didnt they lower rake in larger pots? That should offset the loss of VPPs for SN+ players.

I hope all the cap guys dont move to hypers, though getting bubble factors down after playing cash for so long could be tough.
