No clue if there is still a chat left, probably not. I haven't been in it since 2013 or so.

Not a lot of players left and us that are still here have been here so long that it's basically home. Have our routine, our groups of friends, significant other, etc etc.

Been very few new arrivals in the past years and most new arrivals from 2012-2014 didn't last all that long. Almost everyone that I know that still lives here has been here since end of 2012 or earlier

I'm here now. First time back to my Ensenada home in about a year and feeling great! City is still nice but SO MANY potholes now! My poor car is going to need some TLC when I get back to Las Vegas.

I spoke with someone today that was going to set me up with e-wallets, reinstate my PS and Party accounts from Rosarito and I would only have to stay there a couple of days.

Reading the threads here it doesn't seem that easy without utility bills, bank accounts and land lines.

The fee seemed to be a little high, but to have something taken care of in a day or two that might take me weeks may be worth it. I am not going there to grind and I don't expect to recoup my EV, but I will be doing a lot of travelling and I want to play on line.

This is a relocation service for Poker players and sports bettors. Their account on here is inactive. I found one negative review on two-plus-two, but that seemed to be about house hunting which I could see how it could easily go south.

One thing that worries me a little is that I have to pay up front a couple of months in advance.

Any thoughts?

Yea I been down here a couple months (La Mision which is between Rosa and Ensenada). It’s a ***** getting set up with some of this stuff. For example, I’m trying to stream live tv from the USA. Thought it would be easy. I was told to buy a VPN service + Hulu subscription. Still not working.

Anyone please... What’s the easiest way to get American tv down here? Need to watch live sports. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply. That's why I posted. How long does it take to establish a residency? 3 days? 3 weeks? The sites seem to be vague about that. I hear of players living in the US and going back and forth to play. Next year I will most likely be spending a lot of time out of the US and all I want to play. If not feasible I won't do it. Really not trying to circumvent anything.

Yeah, La Mision is great. It's definitely very quiet. Feels very safe. One thing that concerns me...everywhere I go in the Baja (La Mision included)...every single house is for sale. It seems like all the gringos are in a rush to get tf out of Mexico. Why??

interesting, I hadn't noticed. but I've noticed there's tons of construction going on. just before la mision near the dunes (or maybe just after?) there's that huge area they just leveled in the last couple months. I'm assuming they're going to develop another gated community like la mision. then you've got all those new houses off the freeway before primo tapia, plus palacio is finally working on the 2nd tower which is going to have 70+ new condos for sale. and a bunch of other smaller projects all around baja.

from the looks of it you'd think there is massive demand, but if there's a lot of sellers already on the market and not enough demand + all the new construction dragging the market down further then this seems like a terrible time to buy.

The apartment I'm renting has wifi supplied by the landlord, but I wanted a backup.

So I go to Telcel today in Rosarito to buy it and they tell me I need 3 references to buy internet service??? lol

Always needed 3 refs, can mostly just make them up/use USA ppl too. In terms of vacationers, this year is MUCH more busy compared to when us poker players first arrived in 2011-2013 when the town was still absolutely dead, even during tourist season.

Lot of stuff for sale does not equal gringos moving away. There is much more gringo money and money in general running through this area right now than 5-9 years ago

any poker players still in Rosarito. Planning on moving there for a little while next month for a few months. Need to 411 on how to get started up. I am in Las Vegas and never had an account on stars or any top sites. So hopefully be as much of an issue as some have in the past that had to get account re opened. I have been planning an Asia trip for over a year but everything closer so going to spend time in MX til it reopens. I know no Poker Players. Even here in Vegas I talk to like 2 people that I am friendly with at the tables. Vegas poker is going to be weird for awhile 5 handed so figured this was best time to do a poker field trip.
