People are really pissed about the hike in gas prices (planned Pemex deregulation + federal govt. making up for unexpected budget shortfall) and govt. corruption in general. Lots of protests everywhere and gas stations closed, some looting, etc. Cuidado out there.

(Those are Federal Police guarding the local Pemex refinery in Rosarito, not local cops (I think?))

Hey all! Been away from Rosa for a few years now, got an apartment in Tijuana a few months ago but our internet has started to act up. Unfortunately our Spanish sucks so have no real way of communicating with the Telnor people. Is there anyone out there who helps players out with this kind of stuff nowadays? Heard a rumor Pokerexpats is no more and I haven't been able to get in touch with Poker Refugees. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Really need this internet back up and running properly

Yea, we have all the necessary hook ups for it but apparently they can only do 20 per area or some BS like that so we're not allowed to get it because our area already has 20.

I'm coming down in a few weeks to play some tourneys... I'm having a lodging problem, and hope you guys can advise me. I rented a house at La Paloma. Once I was charged, I received a rental agreement indicating all guests have to be over 25. I have to list the names and ages of my party. Two of my buddies are 22.

Do you think they will actually be carded for their age? Now that we're getting down to the wire, I'm having a hard time finding a nice place in the same price range. I have tried to get a hold of Miguel Sedano for a different rental, but with no luck.

Any advice, guys? Thanks.
