I did not receive that email. Looks like your card is just expiring and isn't the same thing as everyone's cards being GG (hoping this at least)

I received the same email, was hoping it is because I didn't activate the new card yet, just got it a few days ago.

Anyhow, I activated it today and also sent them an email, so hopefully all is well.

Also a few days ago there was a notice when I logged in saying they were not going to be facilitating any more deposits or wire transfers in US dollars.

Just wondering if anyone's moved from the uk and if they could give me any advice on making the transition? Seems like the most difficult part will be becoming a resident and sorting that with stars and other sites.

hey everyone, a friend and i were thinking of getting a place in rosarito or ensanada for a couple months to grind. does anyone have any suggestions of a good condo complex with good internet, or can highly recommend a real estate agent that would be helpful for us as we speak very little spanish. thanks in advance for any advice!

i wouldn't recommend setting up shop in ensenada unless you can speak decent spanish

I second that. Ensenada is far enough "south" where English speakers are less common. So Spanish is really essential to visit/live there.

Having said that, once you're there its a fantastic city. It's super easy to navigate, really good food and close to wine country (if that's your thing - it's mine, so Ensenada works out great for me).

I think you'll be fine. Remember, at the end of the day, Stars always needs new deposits. They're in the business of saying, "yes" more than, "no" so I think you have reasons to be optimistic.

Any good parties/events going on for NYE? Would prefer to find something in Ensenada but willing to go to Rosarito too. Somewhere that is intended for couples would be great since I want to take my girl with me. Any nice parties going on that weekend?

according to both skrill and neteller the cards will cease to function in mexico, think in feb or march for anyone that still has working ones. my newest skrill card couldnt be activated and was told by skrill support they are gg. called neteller about getting new card and same thing.

The IFE is the national voting registration card. So unless you're a citizen of Mexico, I don't recommend that one . . .
