I stayed at hotel Aqua rio quite a few times and it was fine. Room if I remember right was 40's per night.

I had another one that was fine also that was a bit cheaper but I can't remember the name off hand. I'll look it up.

The other one is suites royal. It's a bit dated but was comfortable enough, had restaurants within a few minutes walk, a grocery store walking distance, and full fridge/living arrangements in the room. Probably your best value.

Anyone know if anywhere in rosa/TJ sells those single serving pod espresso machines, Nespresso, starbucks, w/e?

Basically my story is that I was one of the top 18-man ginders (not volume but ROI) pre-black Friday right when I was ramping up to 24 tables and had an ROI of 9.1% (markmax33). Anyway I gave poker up for a years working on other projects and then cranked up Bovada about 6-months ago. It's hard to say because Bovada is anonymous but I know play the top limits on Bovada for the 6-max hypers and I think I'm probably the top player on the site. I have about a 5% ROI and that's with a much higher rake structure than on Stars. I know 6-max hypers on stars are super competitive and theoretically unbeatable, but I wanted to get down to mexico on some weekends to see how the game play is on the hypers and see if I want to make a run at SNE. I'm willing to pay rent or do whatever is required to get down there and test this thing out. I guess if there is a poker house in Tijuanna or Ensenada I would be willing to do either. I just want something safe with a good internet connection and back up, hopefully that some other player has tested out for a quite a while.

Their top package for 1k pesos is upto 10Mbps down and 1Mbps up I believe. So much of what you actually get depends on how your building and unit are wired. Unless you want to come down and test out places for yourself Id find a good realtor that is wiling to go around and speedtest each location.

Think youre going be cutting it really close even if youre getting close to topped out speed. Youll also get lag during evenings and weekend when lots of people are home and online.

Been roommates with PGH for about 8 months now, is a great roommate. You'd be taking my room. Rent is great, internet connections are very good (2 of them), prime location 1-2 minute walk to the beach and minute walk to Calimax (grocery store) and other restaurants, tacos etc. Like he said in middle of the city. The maid is a nice perk too. Not going to find much better location or a better price in town.

It is furnished, month-to-month. I'm 29 years old, play mid stakes SNGs. Non smoker but 420 friendly, occasional drinker, really just your standard Rosarito poker player white guy. I like sports, cooking, and long walks on the beach.
