Did they open a MXN and USD account for you?
I know I could ask these questions in the banking thread, but I want Rosarito specific information on who lets you do what and where they are. Thanks anyone.
I used Santander, pretty sure if you have a utility bill in your name you can choose to open it up in USD or Pesos. If not, you HAVE to open it up in Pesos, this is what happened to me.n I personally think it is best to open it up in Pesos. Most of the people @ Santander speak English, my roommate ran bad with a new employee but besides that everything has gone smooth @ the bank. When you get to Santander, try to get one of the the guys @ the desks behind the glass.(I think its Rafael and I forget other guys name) both are extremely helpful and speak very good English. If you run good they should help you set up your online banking(you have to created a 6digit code via the phone, but not speaking Spanish makes that difficult).Santander is located pretty much right in the middle of town and not nearly as far north as some of the other banks. I just woke up, if I can think of anything else with the banking, Ill add it.
