Ya thats not defiantly not true. The landlords assistant went to telnor to get our phone and internet with us. Next time ask to talk to maggie, she'll answer any question you guys have. She literally got everything set up for us and was huge help.

I checked out a dope house in that area as well, but dealbreaker for me is it's a 10 minute walk to the beach, minimum...since ur on the other side of the highway and the toll road. sick spot though, and too chill having a huge statue of jesus right next to you, that's the smoke spot for suuuure!

depends what ur looking for. del mar isn't in the city, so much more secluded and stuff...still plenty of little taco shops and restuarants around, and ur super close to popotla fishing village with bomb seafood.

bryce (skillzdatkills) lives in the northern one, as well as overdose...u could ask them.

scott (cafenoir) and john (jlevu) live in the del mar one...you could hit em up as well.

it depends on what u want, imo. Being in the middle of town or not, is basically the choice.

i think la jolla de rosarito is great... everything is immediate walking distance away and works out pretty well in general. if you have any detailed questions you can ask here or pm me.

i haven't seen la jolla del mar so I don't know anything about that place.

Public Service Announcement to anyone moving or thinking about moving to Rosarito.

DO NOT send a security deposit before coming down to "reserve" the condo. I was scammed a month ago for a different condo and I found out yesterday that it's pretty common down here for people to pose as realtors on websites like vivastreet,craigslist and some others. I went to the condo association of the condo I was going to rent and she told me this was common.

Yikes sorry that happened to you bud! That scam goes on in the USA fairly often as well. You will also hear of people renting condos/homes that are in foreclosure. As well as taking deposit's on rental's that are no longer even available.

Ask to meet the Realtor at their office first and you can also ask to see their license there as well. Then make them physically show you the rental to see they really can get access to the property and they are not showing you a rental that has actually already been rented/occupied. Just realize when going to another country this is a good practice as well as "No Keys" "No Cash"! Even though you would like to tie it up first you have to bite the bullet and get your deal done when you arrive.

I think another reason they do it is because they may show you some condo online or even in person, then talk to you later and say someone else is interested in it. This is a way they can either start a bidding war and make them seem like heroes because they "got" the place for you.
I also think they do this for properties that are unavailable, but once they have some of your money you essentially have to go through them and they are making commission no matter what now.
My realtor wanted a 1k wire transfer when I told him I would be there in 3-4 hours with 4k cash to pay for everything, as long as I get the keys and a signed lease in return. Because of weird things like this and last minute price changes I no longer recommend my realtor, Dennis of Baja123.com

fwiw they did take care of 90% of what I needed in a mexican approved orderly/timely fashion, I would just choose to support a more transparent business practice than Dennis does, there's another lady Zinnia at the company who I hear is cool. That website is the best I've found yet for vacation properties.

Might be tough if you're looking to post up somewhere for 12 hours and get internet, especially if ur starting at 7am for the first WCOOP. I don't know if internet cafe's are open that early either. Might be best to get a hotel... there's a bunch for 20 bucks around.
Or you can get a 3G card for $40 and play from anywhere you want that has a power outlet
