I have not seen anything on the women...can you guys share your experiences, are there tons of tourists coming through? I've been to Playa about 5-6 times but mainly stayed in resorts, I've seen a little of it, same w/ Cancun, thanks for the replies ahead of time.

There is plenty of deep sea fishing, haven't done it yet despite talking about it all the time. will 100% be going in December. I think there are a ton of different fish in the area, I know 0 about marine stuff though.

Beach volleyball goes everyday, there are a bunch of nets up and down the shore. I think places rent the ball, but probably could join games in progress. There are a ton of public parks lit up at night, I'm guessing they play soccer. Not a sport I dislike more though so couldn't tell anymore

I think we are all too lazy to be much of a help on moving, but you wouldnt be alone when you got here. I was a little uneasy about moving to a new country by myself, but it really wasnt a big deal at all. First couple days were a little crazy, but was totally comfortable after like a week even though I still only speak like 5 words of spanish

I am going to be moving to Playa in 10 days or so. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on real estate agencies to use and/or neighborhoods to live in? I have done quite a few google searches but was curious if anyone could post who they used finding an apartment and how the process went?

So far I have been searching on andale.mx and looked at a couple of other real estate places online. My Spanish is very poor though, so having someone who speaks some English would be a huge help.

I'd think you'd have better luck in Cancun with your exchange. Of course, I know you'd have to get there first, but it's a thought.

So I've been to every bank and money changer in the city, including Monex, and nobody will take SGD or HKD.

If can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

I will pay a 5% vig for stars or MB or would accept $2450usd for the equivalent of $2868 SGD+HKD that you would have to change back in the states.

Also, once I get everything set up will buy you buckets of beer all night, every night for a week.

Anybody living out in Playacar? If so, how do you like it? wish you were closer to everything?

how are the ladies in the area compared to what you guys are used to in the states, how about the night life bars and clubs?

the local girls on average are pretty ugly. The hot ones are really hot imo (I love all non-white females though) Lot's of tourists, lots of good looking tourists. So far it seems like Playa is the place for couples to go to (haven't run into a large group of females). I imagine that will change a bunch now that tourism is picking up

The night life is pretty fun. Clubs are open all night, sometimes a cover sometimes not. Beers ~40pesos mixed drinks 80. Be careful, heard lots of stories about scams (pretty common to try and **** drunk tourists)

some of the clubs have all you can drink (bottom shelf) for 350 pesos, I haven't done that yet as I like going from place to place.

The clubs are all on 12th calle from the beach to 10th ave, and they pick up around 12pm. before 12 the drinking/eating takes place on 5th avenue

still dont get how you think the locals on average are ugly, I think I need to go check out the girls in Kansas

kansas girls are smoking hot on average believe it or not (well, at least where I grew up, higher average income better looking girls fact good looking ppl make more loot)

you don't spend enough time past 10th ave. average girl i see on 30th is ogly. but all the girls that work in service industry are hot imo

Ive seen more drop dead amazing women here than pretty much anywhere I imagine its going to be fun when the season picks up and a lot of girls down here just to have a good time
